ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Solomon Pena, the suspected mastermind behind shootings at the homes of four politicians between late 2022 and early 2023, is now facing more charges. A federal grand jury has returned a superseding indictment against a former state House candidate.
The charge of using a firearm during a violent crime was replaced with using a machine gun during a violent crime. Four other charges were dealt, including being a felon in possession and three counts of solicitation to commit a violent crime.
