ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQY) – The Albuquerque Isotopes open their season with a three-game homestand against the El Paso Chihuahuas. Opening night for the Isotopes is Friday, March 29 at 6:35 p.m., and the team has plenty for fans to enjoy throughout the season.

Features the 2024 season New food items In the park for fans to enjoy. In addition to the new items, there will also be new concessions including Thundercup Sundaes and Mr. Softee ice cream.

  • El Fuego – Green Chili and Cheese Bagel Tender beef brisket with charred ends, cooked in a spicy herbed Brazilian barbecue sauce. It’s topped with a layer of green chili mac n’ cheese.
  • Vegetarian Fusion Bowl – A veggie dish with plant-based pork protein, cooked with a mixture of hoisin, ginger, soy sauce, and crispy vegetables served on a bed of rice.
  • Hawaiian barbecue turkey leg – Turkey legs slow smoked and generously dipped in a traditional Hawaiian barbecue sauce
  • Piggy Burger – The classic burger features sticky sweet pork that has been candied with maple syrup and brown sugar.

Along with some new dishes, this season will also feature new attractions around the ballpark. Isotopes and the City of Albuquerque unveiled a new state-of-the-art LED lighting system. The new system increases light levels that improve visibility and reduce glare for fans and players tracking baseballs. Fans will see a new mural at Isotopes Park this season. The mural includes several references to Albuquerque, such as Breaking Bad and Low-Rider Cars. The park’s pro shop is full of merchandise, including some new items.

Opening weekend kicks off with a night of giveaways for Isotopes Park fans. Friday giveaways are ear flap hats, Saturdays are adult jersey hoodies and Sundays are magnet schedules. All giveaway items are available only while supplies last. For Isotope’s full promotional schedule, click here.
