LORDSBURG, NM (KRQE) – A massive interstate realignment project will cause delays on both eastbound and westbound I-10. The work will start from Monday, April 1.

Work on I-10 between Milepost 0 on the Arizona-New Mexico border and Milepost 15 in Hidalgo County will last about 200 business days, the New Mexico Department of Transportation says. Drivers should expect lane closures during the day.

The work is part of a $23.3 million repair project in collaboration with Mountain State Constructors, Inc. For more information on road closures, you can check nmroads.com or call 511.
